Neighborland fits into a new collection of community-minded startups that are using technology to make it easier to people to take action, equipping individuals and community organizations alike. As far as Dan is concerned, the technology industry certainly has an important role to play, and new businesses models are encouraging more startups to provide useful services while also promising handsome returns.
