Rathod Vrunda

Hello, everyone! I’m Vrunda. Engine has grown a lot over the last year, and so have you—I’m coming on board to be your first point of call for all things member related.

We know you have a lot on your mind, and Engine is here to bring your voice to the lawmakers in DC so you can stay one step ahead of the regulations and policies that may affect your business. My goal is to help you stay on top of it, and make what you already do best—create successful startups—a little bit easier.

A bit about me: I used to run around on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide to Congresswoman Diane Watson, where I worked on healthcare reform, environment, foreign policy, and technology among other things. Before that, I advocated for members’ policy needs at American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. I recently returned from Liberia, where I travelled around the countryside visiting rural health centers, researching maternal and child health issues with the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

If you can’t tell, I’m interested in everything—and what I’m most interested in is your startup, the issues you’re facing, and what we can do to help. Shoot me your stories, questions, concerns, funny quotes, and membership requests at vrundar@engine.is. I also love coffee, so if you’re ever in the neighborhood, stop by and tell me about what you do.

I can’t wait to hear from you.
